Four details:
1. On average, anesthesiologists earn $392,000 a year, up from $386,000 in last year’s report.
2. Male anesthesiologists earn $407,000; women earn $344,000.
3. Self-employed anesthesiologists earn $424,000; other anesthesiologists earn $369,000.
4. Fifty-eight percent of anesthesiologists reported that they felt that they were fairly compensated.
