Here’s what you should know:

1. The electronic recordkeeping systems will be installed in two acute care hospitals and a surgery center.

2. The anesthesia groups selected Plexus TG because of the group’s experience integrating Meditech’s EMR system with Plexus’ billing platform.

3. The anesthesia practices also wanted to ensure they had access to Plexus’ Anesthesia Touch mobile electronic anesthesia management system.

Reston Anesthesia Associates Chairman Eric Shea, DO, said in a release, “We chose Plexus as our anesthesia EMR provider based on its reputation, its integration with Meditech’s EMR, its capabilities to track our quality data, and the ability to work with our business office to streamline our data and billing efficiencies.”
