Whitsett has also added a second new lens for use in cataract procedures — the RxSight Light Adjustable Lens.

The ClearView 3 lens showed success for improving patient vision in clinical trials. The team at Whitsett first performed surgery using the lens last month.

“The ClearView 3 from Lenstec has been designed with increased precision, accuracy and stability, which results in excellent long-term visual outcomes at near, intermediate and distance,” Jeffery Whitsett, MD, founder of the Whitsett Vision Group, said in a Sept. 26 press release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
