Aspen Surgical expands ASC offerings, adding Canada medical supply company

Surgical supply company Aspen Surgical acquired Montreal-based BlueMed Medical Supplies.

Aspen Surgical focuses on disposable surgical products, and the acquisition will expand the company’s disposables portfolio, according to a March 24 release. BlueMed manufactures disposable shoe covers and other protective products used in healthcare, pharmaceutical and lab facilities. 

In the past year, Aspen Surgical has also acquired Precept Medical and Protek Medical.
