The Crown Point Common Council voted 4-3 to approve the ASC in a business district, the report said. The recommendation for approval was unfavorable to some over parking issues.

Jason Marnin, with SurgCenter Development, said the center wouldn’t do anything different in terms of parking, but would include improvements to wheelchair ramps, according to the report.

Further details about the development weren’t available. SurgCenter Development didn’t immediately respond to a request for details.
