On behalf of Supplyframe, Conceptial Inc. surveyed 200 supply chain professionals working at North America-based medical device companies in August and September.
Industry professionals were asked to share their strategies for supply chain recovery:
1. Increase qualifications of multiple suppliers and sources of supply in the product design phase: 19 percent
2. Recommend a supply chain redesign to source locally: 16 percent
3. Improve qualifications of suppliers and the review process: 15 percent
4. Seek to improve visibility of supplier inventory, capacity and lead times: 12 percent
5. Restructure supply chains with second sources: 10 percent
