New York hospital cardiology department gets echocardiography operation reaccredited

The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission reaccredited Batavia, N.Y.-based Rochester Regional Health United Memorial Medical Center Department of Cardiology’s echocardiology operation for three years, The Daily News reports.

The renewal of the accreditation shows the hospital’s commitment to high-quality patient care. IAC put the cardiology department through an extensive application and review process including a self-evaluation and a medical expert panel review process.
