Created by executive order, this council will work in coordination with the New Jersey Restart and Recovery Commission, and will focus on the tactics of reopening the economy.
Mr. Shanton will serve on the healthcare subcommittee, one of nine. In addition, on March 18, Mr. Shanton provided testimony to the Senate Fiscal Recovery Strategists Committee.
The panel of speakers included three hospital CEOs, and representatives from the New Jersey Medical Society, the New Jersey Dental Society and Mr. Shanton representing ambulatory surgery centers through NJAASC.
