5 new ASCs that cost $10M+

Here are five ASCs or outpatient surgery centers opened or announced in the past year that have cost $10 million or more.

1. Orthopedic Associates of Hartford (Conn.) opened a new $30 million outpatient surgical center in January.

2. Riverview Surgical Center in South Sioux City, Neb., opened its $37 million facility in October.

3. Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee opened a $55.5 million outpatient surgery center in August with eight surgical suites, two procedure rooms and four procedure suites.

4. Missoula (Mont.) Bone and Joint opened a $16 million surgery center in December that can perform up to 5,000 procedures per year in its four operating rooms.

5. Premier Bone & Joint in Laramie, Wyo., is planning to open a 21,000-square-foot, $10 million ASC in the fall of 2020.
