Aurora Health Care opens $55.5M outpatient surgery center — 4 points

Milwaukee, Wis.-based Aurora Health Care opened a $55.5 million outpatient surgery center on Aug. 2, BizTimes Media reports.

What you should know:

1. The new five-story facility, dubbed Aurora Health Center at 84South, occupies 130,000 square feet in Greenfield, Wis.

2. Aurora Health Center houses the health system’s sports medicine services, including its first Milwaukee-area outpatient surgery center.

3. Aurora Health Center features eight surgical suites, two pain management procedure rooms, two gastroenterology suites and two outpatient interventional radiology suites.

4. It will serve as the central location for Aurora Children’s Health services, including pediatric cardiology, urology, allergy, dermatology, ENT, neuropsychology and radiology.
