Florida hospital building $19M outpatient surgery center — 3 insights

Pensacola, Fla.-based Ascension Sacred Heart is building a $19 million surgery center it expects to open in November 2020, the Pensacola News Journal reports.

1. The center will be 58,000 square feet.

2. The center will feature six operating rooms, imaging equipment, a breast health clinic and a dermatology center.

3. Ascension administrators determined the combination of specialties by analyzing prevalent diseases in the greater Pensacola area.
