Management services organization EyeSouth Partners entered into a partnership with Panama City-based Eye Center of North Florida, its second such partnership in Florida.

What you should know:

1. The previously independent practice has six ophthalmologists and two optometrists.

2. The practice also features an ASC.

3. Anthony Aker, OD, said the group entered into the partnership so they could “continue to provide quality care for decades to come, ensuring our employees, patients and the community are taken care of over the long run.”

4. Eye Center of North Florida will retain its branding, and no changes will be made to its staff, physicians or locations.
