In her role as senior vice president and chief nursing officer at Excela Health, Dr. Burns oversees the nursing practice across the entire health system, which includes two freestanding outpatient surgery centers, three hospitals and hospice and home care services.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, and sits on the board of directors for Excela Health.
