1. Dr. McGarr is finishing his tenure at Augusta-based MaineGeneral Medical Center. He will join Central Maine Healthcare in November.
2. He is an advanced therapeutic endoscopist.
3. Dr. McGarr earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Pomona, Calif.-based Western University of Health Sciences. He completed an internship, residency and fellowship at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University.
