Here are five details:
1. McBride broke ground on the freestanding ASC Nov. 2, 2017.
2. The 35,500-square-foot ASC will be located on the hospital’s campus.
3. It will feature six orthopedic operating rooms, 24 Phase I preoperative and recovery bays and 12 Phase II postanesthesia care unit beds.
4. The new surgical suites will accommodate outpatient knee, shoulder, foot, ankle, hip, spine and pain management procedures.
5. The facility is expected to open in 2019.
