Here’s what you should know:
1. Dr. Branman will represent Arkansas’ second district, which includes the Little Rock, Ark., area.
2. He will be tasked with licensing physicians and reviewing citizen complaints. He’ll also review regulatory practices in the medical community.
3. Dr. Branman earned his medical degree from and completed an internship and residency at Nashville, Ten.-based Vanderbilt University.
4. On the honor he said, “As a medical board member, I will work to ensure that patients have access to qualified individuals who provide safe, effective treatment.”
