Throughout Pennsylvania, operating margins for ASCs vary based on region, with the state operating margin being 25.35 percent, according to the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council’s “Financial Analysis 2016: Ambulatory Surgery Centers” annual report.

Region 2: 21.25 percent

McKean, Mercer, Potter, Venango and Warren)

Region 3: 19.45 percent
