Providence Medical Group adds a new physician & more: 4 GI practices in the news

Here are four practices with gastroenterology services making news this past week.

Walla Walla, Wash.-based Providence Medical Group added gastroenterologist Patrick Laing, MD, to its staff.

The Buffalo (N.Y.) Veterans Affairs Medical Center is notifying 526 patients that a procedure they received was performed with an improperly cleaned endoscope.

New York State Senator Gustavo Rivera, D-33rd, and Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz, D-81st, visited New York City-based Advanced Endoscopy Center on Aug. 10.

Ayokunle Abegunde, MD, joined the staff of Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola Medicine.
