GI leader to know: Dr. Barry Perkins of St. Anthony Hospital

Barry Perkins, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Oklahoma City-based St. Anthony Hospital.

Dr. Perkins specializes in the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver and gallbladder.

He began his career after earning his degree from Austin-based University of Texas. He completed an internship, residency and fellowship at Temple, Texas-based Scott and White Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Perkins has a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer screening and small bowel disorder.
