GI leader to know: Dr. Truc Trinh of Gastroenterology Center of Northern Virginia

Truc Trinh, MD, is a gastroenterologist with Arlington-based Gastroenterology Center of Northern Virginia.

Dr. Trinh specializes in inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal tract disorders, viral hepatitis and functional GI disorders.

She earned her medical degree and completed her residency and fellowship at Charlottesville-based University of Virginia.

Dr. Trinh was a clinical internal medicine instructor at the university’s Digestive Health Center before she joined the practice.

Dr. Trinh received a Crohn’s Colitis Foundation of America research grant and the American Gastroenterology Association’s Excellence in Clinical IBD Award.
