1. In his most recent position, he served as a clinical associate professor of medicine at the Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, Pa. At the college, he taught gastroenterology to residents and medical students.
2. He also previously served as the chairman of the department of medicine and medical director of gastroenterology and endoscopy at Williamsport Regional Medical Center in Williamsport, Pa.
3. Before attending medical school, he had a career as a clinical psychologist. He practiced at institutions like the United States Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., along with private practice.
4. Space Coast Daily notes that, including Dr. Schaefer, the Wuesthoff Health System has added six physicians in the past four months.
