Here are nine key points:
1. Total first quarter revenue hit $26.9 million, up 63 percent from the same period the year prior.
2. Total visits reached 239,942, a 61 percent increase from 148,696 visits in the first quarter of 2015.
3. Gross margin totaled 70 percent.
4. The company saw a net loss of $15.3 million, compared to $12.7 million in the first quarter of 2015.
5. Net loss per basic and diluted share was $0.40.
6. Teladoc’s adjusted EBITDA was a $11.9 million loss.
7. Teladoc anticipates second quarter revenue to land between $27.5 million and $28.5 million.
8. The company expects second quarter total visits to fall between 180,000 and 190,000.
9. Full year 2016 revenue is expected to reach between $118 million and $122 million.
“In addition to our financial and operational accomplishments in the quarter, we also saw promising movement on the regulatory front as several states have adopted more favorable telehealth rules or laws over the last several months,” said Jason Gorevic, CEO, Teladoc.
