Gaylord Eye Center founding partner Dr. Robert Slezak to step down; son to succeed him: 5 things to know

Robert Slezak, MD, is stepping down as partner at Gaylord (Mich.) Eye Care Center, according to Gaylord Herald Times.com.

Here are five things to know:

1. Dr. Slezak is a founding partner at Gaylord Eye Care Center.

2. His son, Nathan Slezak, MD, will take his place as partner.

3. Dr. Robert Slezak will continue to see patients at the office on an as-needed basis.

4. In 1991, Dr. Robert Slezak and Ronald Mead, MD, opened Gaylord Eye Center.

5. Since its inception, Gaylord Eye Center added two more offices in Bellaire and Boyne City, both in Michigan.
