Here are four key points:
1. The ministry set up the training to address serious conditions like cancer and ulcers that may be overlooked in patient examinations.
2. The training targets physicians, but also the public, educating on the importance of the performing the procedures properly.
3. The training will hopefully result in more physicians equipped with the expertise to perform these procedures, so conditions will be caught earlier.
4. The training will take place at Victoria Hospital in mid-October.
