Here are six recent news updates on ambulatory surgery center companies.

AmSurg stock hit a 52-week high of $68.68 on May 18, according to an equities report. The stock opened at $66.31 and closed at $68.47.

Hospital Corporation of America stock traded at $79.85 per share during the week of May 11 to May 15, up 3.89 percent.

Hospital Corporation of America‘s ambulatory surgery division partnered with Issio Solutions to improve productivity. Through the master services agreement, HCA’s far west division will be the first to implement the Issio Productivity Manager.

The Toronto Stock Exchange approved Medical Facilities Corporation‘s notice of intention to make a normal course issuer bid. The NCIB is for up to 626,350 of outstanding common shares, 2 percent of the 31,317,498 common shares issued and outstanding as of May 1.

During the first quarter, Surgical Care Affiliates added four new facilities, three of which were consolidated and one of which was nonconsolidated. Three of the company’s existing facilities switched from nonconsolidated to consolidated. One existing facility switched from nonconsolidated to managed-only.

Tenet Healthcare stock traded at $48.45 per share during the week of May 11 to May 15, up 0.39 percent.
