VA surgery center opening in Green Bay delayed

The Department of Veterans Affairs opened the Milo C. Huempfner outpatient facility in Green Bay, Wis., in 2013, but the surgery center housed in the clinic has yet to open, according to a Fox 11 Investigates report.

U.S. Representative Reid Ribble (R-8th District) sent a formal letter to the head of the VA requesting an investigation into the surgery center’s delayed opening, according to the report.
