San Joaquin Hospital Submits Request for 2 ASCs

San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield, Calif., has submitted licensing requests for two ambulatory surgery centers with the California Department of Public Health, according to a report by The Bakersfield Californian.

The non-profit hospital submitted the requests after receiving positive results from a recent CMS inspection.

San Joaquin Community Hospital is also planning the construction of a $36.2 million, 60,000-square-foot cancer center.
