The Johns Hopkins Hand Hygiene SuperStar program is a hospital-wide recognition program intended to encourage proper hand hygiene practices.

Healthcare team members are nominated for their exemplary hand hygiene practices and for reminding their colleagues to do so. Selected nominated members are then recognized as hand hygiene superstars, with their picture and recognition posted through the hospital.

This is a program any organization can emulate, and Johns Hopkins provides the program’s downloadable hand hygiene superstar nomination form (pdf) that can be adapted and used in your organization.
