Optum is set to close a primary care practice in Zionsville, Ind., at the end of June, according to a June 3 report from Current Publishing.
Optum Primary Care will close June 26. The company has also closed a number of other practices in 2026, including offices in Franklin, Ind., Rock Hill, N.Y., and Portland, Ore.
Several physicians from the practice are planning to leave Optum and join other healthcare organizations.
“As part of our commitment to making care more affordable, we regularly review services and staffing to meet patient needs and changing market dynamics,” an Optum spokesperson told the publication. “Our priority is ensuring patients continue receiving care with minimal disruption and teams are working with our patients to transition care to other nearby Optum clinics or another provider of their choice.”
