Washington Surgery Center Board Member Named President of State Medical Association

Otolaryngologist Dr. Douglas R. Myers has been elected president of the Washington State Medical Association, according to a WSMA news release (pdf).

Dr. Myers, who practices out of Vancouver, Wash., is a member of the board of directors of the Southwest Washington Regional Surgery Center in Vancouver. He is on the medical staff of Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital and also serves as the chairman of the bylaws committee at the Southwest Washington Medical Center.

 

Dr. Myers received his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University, based in Portland, where he also completed his residency.
