Virginia Surgery Center to Relocate, Construct New Facility

The Surgi-Center of Central Virginia in Fredericksburg has received approval from the Virginia Department of Health to relocate its facility to a larger location, according to a report in the Free-Lance Star.

Construction on the $4.7 million surgery center, which is owned by United Surgical Partners and local physicians, will begin this summer and expected to be completed in 2011.
