VA Hospital Loses in Dirty Colonoscopy Lawsuit

Miami VA Healthcare System lost in a lawsuit that alleged the hospital used dirty colonoscopy equipment, according to a Huffington Post report.

Robert Metzler, an Air Force veteran, filed a lawsuit against the VA system, alleging dirty colonoscopy equipment caused him to contract hepatitis C in 2007. A monetary settlement will be reached at a later time.
