University Opens Surgery Center in New York

The University of Rochester (N.Y.) Medical Center has opened a new ASC to relieve some of the demands on the hospital’s existing operating rooms, according to a report from WXXI.

The new surgery center will have 10 operating suites and three procedure rooms. The center is expected to perform 8,500 procedures in its first year, according to the report.
