1. The anthrax shipments were believed to be dead, but a Maryland lab received live samples, and samples left over at a lab in Dubway, Utah were determined to contain live agent.

3. Five active duty Air Force members, 10 active duty Army members, three civilian officials and four contractors are currently in South Korea receiving preventative, a defense official said, according to CNN.
