1. Over 2.11 million records were compromised in February, which was a 330 percent increase from January.

2. Columbia Surgical Specialists of Spokane (Wash.) was the second largest data breach in February, with over 400,000 patients affected.

3. The states were affected include California, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Texas, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Virginia, North Carolina, Montana, Mississippi, Massachusetts, Kansas, Georgia, Delaware, Connecticut, Colorado and Arizona.
