Study: BioElectronics’ Pulsed Radiofrequency Energy Therapy Reduces Postoperative Pain

BioElectronics’ pulsed radiofrequency energy therapy device was found to reduce postoperative pain by 50 percent, according to a clinical study published in the peer-reviewed journal Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

The study followed 18 women undergoing breast augmentation surgery for aesthetic considerations. Baseline pain was established using a 0-10 point visual analog scale. After seven days, baseline pain remained in 7.9 percent of the placebo group versus 38 percent for PRFE treatment.
