St. Vincent’s Medical Center Opens New Surgery Center

St. Vincent’s Medical Center, in Bridgeport, Conn., will soon open the doors to its new ambulatory surgery center, according to a report in the Connecticut Post.

The 13,500-square-foot, $10.5 million facility will have brand-new equipment and will be supplemented by new recovery areas and a new procedure room.

The surgery center is the first phase in a 13-phase, $141 million expansion and renovation project for the hospital. The second phase will be converting the old ambulatory center into a preparatory and recovery space for the new center.
