Sony, Olympus Delay Medical Device Joint Venture

A medical device joint venture between Sony and Olympus has been delayed, according to a Wall Street Journal report and other reports.

The companies had planned to launch the JV by the end of 2012. They are now planning to establish it by April 1.

 

The companies are awaiting antitrust approval of the partnership by overseas countries.
