The TRUCATH system is designed to reduce the risks associated with epidural pain management procedures by enabling the physician to position the needle outside the boney structure of the spine accurately delivering the catheter to the correct transforaminal entry point and reducing the potential for venous and arterial trespass, according to the release.

The system was previewed at the recent Association of Interventional Pain Physicians in Washington, D.C., and the International Spine Intervention Society Annual Scientific Meeting in Toronto, Canada.

The TRUCATH system is available immediately in the United States.
