Here are five points:
1. The uninsured rate in the United States fell by 41 percent from 2013 to 2015.
2. In Texas, the uninsured rate dropped 21 percent during that time period.
3. The report stated the uninsured rate among low-income adults in Texas fell 15 percent, the smallest decline of any group in the state. Almost 50 percent of Texans with household incomes less than $27,000 a year were uninsured.
4. The study found the uninsured rate of all adults across Texas dropped from 24 percent to 19 percent from 2013 to 2015. Each demographic population group had improvements in health-insurance coverage.
5. Researchers found the rate of uninsured Hispanics fell from 39 percent to 29 percent from 2013 to 2015 in Texas.
