Progressive MRI Purchases 9 Maryland Imaging Centers

Progressive MRI, based in Falls Church, Va., has purchased nine Maryland imaging centers from Bloomfield, N.J.-based Medical Resources, according to a report in the Baltimore Business Journal.

With the acquisition of the Maryland centers, Progressive now owns 28 centers and gives the company access to suburbs and rural areas across Maryland. Progressive has taken over administration of the newly-purchased centers and retained the centers’ former employees, according to the report.

Progressive’s biggest competitors in Maryland will be Advanced Radiology and American Radiology Services.
