This individual will communicate with patients about cost of surgery as well as coordinate and schedule procedures. This position also requires tracking consultations; following up with patients in a positive, systematic and articulate way; reviewing marketing and productivity data and discussing it with the surgeon in a meaningful manner; initiating and/or implementing marketing programs to increase patient awareness, practice revenues and patient base; and effectively collaborating and communicating with team members as the lead in all retention, conversion and re-activation activity.
A bachelor’s degree is required. Additional requirements include:
• Eight to 10 years of work experience, with increased responsibility in a surgical practice, customer service, hospitality or travel industry
• Experience with practice management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Comfort using email and interacting with Internet applications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in marketing or sales
• Neat, professional appearance
• Able to understand patient concerns and handle them appropriately
• Able to discuss financial arrangements with patients comfortably
• Proven ability to interact positively with upscale clientele
