CMS Adds Imaging Efficiency Measures to Hospital Compare

CMS has added two imaging efficiency measures to the Hospital Compare website, according to an AHA News Now report.

The two efficiency measures are:

•    Outpatients who got cardiac imaging stress tests before low-risk outpatient surgery
•    Outpatients with brain CT scans who got a sinus CT scan at the same time
