Ohio’s Medical Center of Newark Names President

Medical Center of Newark, a physician-owned hospital located in Newark, Ohio, has named Joe Murrell as president, according to a report by the Newark Advocate.

Mr. Murrell will be the first president of the center, which opened more than a year ago after the merger of Newark Surgery Center and Newark Health Imaging.

The hospital hopes to expand its endovascular and neurosurgical offerings with the aid of its new president, according to the report.
