The physicians plan to transform the former Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital into a patient-focused, high-end facility, according to the report. The hospital plans to credential 80-90 physicians, almost doubling the former occupant’s number of affiliated physicians. Eventually, the hospital will be relocated to 100-bed, $100 million facility. Construction on the new facility is expected to be completed by fall 2012.
A new outpatient surgery center is also planned in the hospital’s former labor and delivery unit.
