New Michigan Medical Center Includes ORs for Ambulatory Surgery

A new medical center set to open Jan. 3, 2011, in Dearborn, Mich., by Oakwood Healthcare will include operating rooms for ambulatory surgery, according to a report from The Detroit News.

The $80 million, three-story, 168,000-square-foot Dearborn Town Center is developed by Oakwood, its Midwest Medical Center and REDICO Management.

 

In addition to the same-day surgery ORs, the medical office building includes family practice doctors, specialists, 24-hour urgent care, a pharmacy and a lab, according to the report.
