2. The task force will determine any gaps or inconsistencies in pain management best practice. It’ll propose recommendations to address such instances.

3. The task force will solicit public comments on the recommendations and will also develop a strategy to distribute the vetted recommendations.

4. The task force will have members from several federal agencies as well as members with expertise in pain management, pain advocacy, addiction, recovery, substance use, mental health, minority health and several others.
