This represents the first in a two-phase medical shaver product strategy for the company.
“Initially, we will apply this new process to toothed blades, during which carefully crafted proprietary coated files are employed to respond precisely to tooth angle and inter-relational structure,” said MEDISISS CEO Jason Wandersee, in the release. “Our second phase will then address full radius and resector blades bringing our shaver sharpening program full circle.”
MEDISISS said the system is designed to help ensure more thorough sharpening and de-burring of shavers, with an end result of like-new sharpness and fully restored device functionality.
