Mayo Clinic plans to commercialize its analytics, publishing and sharing algorithms through Apervita’s secure self-service healthcare analytics platform, according to an HIT Consultant report.

Mayo Clinic is making this move in an effort to improve patient outcomes. A number of other healthcare providers are already participating in the Apervita health analytics market. Apervita can be used to create a patient safety dashboard, predict readmission risks through algorithms, identify patient outliers and more, according to the report.
