L.A. Hospital Receives $12.1M Donation for Surgery Center

Los Angeles’ Good Samaritan Hospital received a $12.1 million donation from the estate of oilman Frank R. Seaver, to help fund the construction of a new ambulatory surgery center, according to a report in the L.A. Times.

The center is part of a planned $81 million medical plaza and outpatient pavilion, according to the report.

According to the hospital, the $12.1 million gift is the largest single contribution towards the construction of the center.
